Was born and raised in Almaty, Kazakhstan and is a graduate of the Republican Special School for gifted children named after K. Baiseitova.

In 1995, she graduated from the Kurmangazy Kazakh State Conservatory majoring in violin performance.
From 1998 to 2001, she did graduate studies in the class of an outstanding pedagogue, the Honored Teacher of the Republic of Kazakhstan, N. M. Patrusheva.

In 2013, she graduated with honors from the magistracy at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, successfully defending her dissertation "Pedagogical foundations of violin performing art in Kazakhstan" and receiving a Master of Arts degree.
In 2014, she trained in Switzerland and France at the International Academy of Music.
Ms. Akhmetova was a Honorary member of the jury in Paris (France) at the Glazunov International Competition.

She is a regular jury member at various national and international competitions. She is a Prize winner and Diploma recipient at international competitions in Kazakhstan, Lithuania, France, and Switzerland.

Ms. Akhmetova regularly performs recitals and appears as a soloist with various groups in Kazakhstan, such as the State Chamber Orchestra "Camerata" and the Kazakh State Symphony Orchestra.

Being a prominent concertizing teacher, she has raised a number of young laureates of National and International competitions, such as Tchaikovsky Competition, Yankelevich Competition, Leopold Auer Competition, Kramarov Competition, Nutcracker TV Competition, Astana-Merey, etc. Her students are leading soloists in the Republic of Kazakhstan, teachers and orchestra players.

Many of them successfully enter the Central Music School in Moscow and the Special Music School in St. Petersburg, study at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, the Gnessin Academy and the Chopin College, as well as in leading universities in Europe and US.

Ms. Akhmetova has received numerous certificates, diplomas and gratitude letters and is the recipient of the Medal of Excellence in Culture.
She devotes a lot of creative energy to nurturing of personality of young musicians, using the achievements of pedagogy, psychology, and other disciplines in the teaching process. She tirelessly studies the experience of Western European, Russian and domestic pedagogues in the violin performing art and schedules numerous scientific and practical events, concerts, master classes, and round tables.
